The International Exchange Diary (国際交流だより) was first published in May 2006 by Aomori City Hall's International Exchange Team. Mainly written in Japanese, this 6-page newsletter was released every two months and contained information on local international exchange groups and upcoming events, as well as a column written by the CIRs at the City Hall. It was available either as a printed newsletter throughout the city, or as a PDF file online.

The last issue in its old format was published in November 2010. However, the International Exchange Diary is set to return sometime soon with a new format. Watch this space.
